History of Stawisko
After their wedding in 1922, Anna and Jarosław Iwaszkiewicz moved to Warsaw. Moving to Stawisko - the property given to Anna as a wedding gift by her father Stanisław Wilhelm Lilpop - took place in October 1928. The name "Stawisko" comes from the pond that once lay within the property.
